Help Rochester Animal Services win in the ASPCA $100K Shelter Challenge!

In an effort to help save more cats and dogs in US animal shelters, the ASPCA is again hosting its second annual ASPCA $100K Challenge. And our own Rochester Animal Services has made it to the next qualifying round! They’re the only local shelter participating in the challenge this year, so get ready to help them win by voting every day between April 4 and April 15.

Only the top 50 animal shelters across the country will be chosen as actual contestants, and those 50 will be decided by online voting. We need all of you to vote for Rochester Animal Services so that our local animal shelter can compete in the 2011 challenge.

I volunteer at the shelter, and trust me, the prize money would go a long way towards helping Rochester Animal Services as they provide services to the city of Rochester. You can learn more about them on the shelter website.

And make sure you vote every day!
