Yesterday was an historic day at Camp Cluck: we got 6 eggs!
That means that every hen – not counting Mimi and Gidget, who aren’t old enough to lay – laid an egg.
That’s pretty exciting! Especially when you consider that they all use the same nesting box, even though there are two available. A few times I’ve opened the lid to find two hens in the same box at the same time.
A week ago, I had one egg in the fridge. Today, I’m up to almost two dozen.
