Where is your milk from?

As you know, I’ve been trying to by local and support area farmers whenever I can, and I came across this nifty website that helps you find out where your diary products come from.

Head over to the website WhereIsMyMilkFrom.com and enter the product code on your milk, cheese, yogurt or other dairy product and find out where it was processed.

My milk from Wegmans, for example, comes from Upstate Niagara Coop, based in Buffalo. And I know one of the farmers in that coop – Kim and Dan Post in Elba! So I’ve even met the cows that make the milk.

Just another way to get a little more connected with your food!
